SHAH ALAM: On the 22nd of October, the representing team of Sekolah Tinta—comprising Zeeshan Athallah Prawira, Darwis Ichiro, Adam Ridzuan, Ainul Mardhiah, and Adelia Johanna—presented well on the Final Grand Day of the Tsunagu Research Project.

They initiated the research project in June of 2023, focusing on Vertical Paddy Farming, an NFT hydroponic system. The project centered on planting paddy using water circulated throughout the system, optimizing the correct amount of water and fertilizer. After months of hard work, they finally completed the prototypes and conducted data analysis. Their research is now encapsulated in their posters. In the last few weeks, they added finishing touches to their research poster presentations.

The day of the event was nerve-wracking for these students and one of the most crucial for them. The students completed their presentations, and Zeeshan, one of the presenters, stated, “I think our presentation was not that bad, although it could have been better. But at the end of the day, we did our best.”

Throughout the presentation day, they learned many things. The participants mentioned, “This was a new experience for us because we had never undertaken a research project before.”

Lastly, Sekolah Tinta hopes that these experiences enable them to gain new insights, unlock new skills, and improve their presentation skills by drawing examples from presenters from different schools and countries.
